Munds Park Property Owners Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting property owners and visitors in Munds Park, Arizona. Our mission is to provide community resources, share local news, and foster a welcoming environment for all.
Our Community’s Journey
Pioneer Beginnings
The Munds family arrived in northern Arizona during the late 1870s and established a homestead near a high-country meadow that would later become known as Munds Park. Their ranching operations and early structures marked the first permanent settlement in the area

Early 1900s
Ranch Era
Through the early twentieth century, Munds Park remained a quiet ranching and grazing area. The land was used primarily for cattle and seasonal activity, with only a handful of scattered cabins and camps.
Recreation Roots
As access improved and outdoor recreation gained popularity, visitors from Phoenix and Flagstaff began discovering Munds Park as a mountain escape. Summer cabins and vacation homes slowly started to appear among the pines.

Community Organization
Property owners formally organized and established the Munds Park Property Owners Association to support community needs and coordinate improvements.
Modern Connectivity
Munds Park has embraced digital communication, launched online resources, and strengthened partnerships with local and regional organizations to improve information sharing and engagement.

Today
Munds Park is a recognized mountain community offering a blend of full-time residents, seasonal homeowners, and visitors who enjoy its forests, trails, and close-knit atmosphere.
Who We Serve
Mission
The mission of the Pinewood Property Owners Association through action of its Board of Directors is to receive voluntary funds from the Munds Park Community and to disperse those funds to community organizations and projects for the betterment of the entire community of Munds Park.
